About…
I’m Amy, the face behind Dear Goodbyes — a certified funeral celebrant with a heart for helping families create personal, meaningful end-of-life ceremonies.
This work is more than a role to me — it’s deeply personal. After experiencing my own loss, I founded Seeded Hope in 2018, creating keepsakes that hold memory, meaning, and connection for grieving families. Through that work, I sat with so many stories of love and loss — and felt called to take the next step: helping people not only remember their loved ones but also honour them through ceremony.
At Dear Goodbyes, I help individuals and families design and experience ceremonies that reflect the story, spirit, and values of the person being remembered. From funerals and celebrations of life to miscarriage memorials and pre-planned goodbyes, I walk alongside you with compassion and care.
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all. I believe in listening, storytelling, and creating space where both grief and love can exist side by side.
Because it’s not just about how we say goodbye — it’s about how we begin to carry them forward.
Based in Chatham-Kent, Ontario, I offer in-person services throughout the province and online ceremonies and planning support worldwide.
Whether through a ceremony with Dear Goodbyes or a keepsake from Seeded Hope, it’s my honour to help you remember — and to remind you that you don’t have to do this alone.
